Tom Meuser is a licensed clinical psychologist (Maine PS 2520) and applied gerontologist with specialized training in cognitive aging, neuropsychological evaluation, functional wellness in the home and community, assistive technologies for aging in place, and navigating major life transitions (e.g., driving retirement, transition to long-term care, widowhood).

Dr. Meuser earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Missouri - St. Louis (1997), is a Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America (since 2011), and was Founding Director of the University of New England Center for Excellence in Aging & Health, a university-wide "center without walls" specializing in intergenerational engagement and research on healthful aging (2018-2024).

Self-employed since 2024, Dr. Meuser works under contract on driver safety with the Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles and also volunteers his time and expertise as a Trustee for The Park Danforth, and as a speaker for the Alzheimer's Association. 

Tom lives in Portland with his wife, Christy, an occupational therapist, and their three rescue dogs. They have three grown children.
